CONSULTING.

Social justice. DEI/leadership consulting. Anti racist development + Marketing consulting

I bring a wide range of skills and perspectives to the table. I do not do large group facilitations and recommend Race Talks, North Star Forward, Empress Rules for that type of work. If you need leadership coaching, strategic planning, marketing or development assistance I may be the right consultant for you.

PUBLIC SPEAKING.

 ART/CURATION

As a multi-disciplined artist I am most excited to help open doors and make space for younger generations in the art world. I also am able to do this through my work as a curator. One of my degrees is in art with a focus on architecture and interior design, My training is rooted in space as much as it is in community. I create space. I create a vibe. Creating an experience is something I excel at. From details of the who, why, where, to the what, how and manifesting the mood I got you. From parties to art shows to networking events. No space, no vibe, no goal is unattainable.

PAST/CURRENT WORK

Fundraisers.

Having worked on fundraising efforts for a variety or causes, orgs, and people over the last decade, I am elated that my fundraising focus is currently centered on reparations work. During the global pandemic I have lead fundraising efforts for Equitable Giving Circle and Mxm Bloc, as well as many private fundraisers. Putting over 2.5 mil dollars into Portland BIPOC economy.

Community Events.

I organize lots of community events. Currently I mainly work with Mxm Bloc and Equitable Giving Circle curating community events. I have organized everything from market events, to talent shows, to second lines, and just about everything in between. See some of my work here.

Hiiiiiii TEA.

Hiiiiiii Tea is a quarterly women focused tea to connect and network with cannabis, which is currently on pause because of Covid-19. -But keep your eyes open, because 2022 plans for Hiiiiiii Tea are in the works. If you want to stay updated on Hiiiiiii tea, check out the FB page or the IG.

Soulful Sundays.

Soulful Sundays is a private dinner series celebrating gourmet cannabis cuisine. Soulful Sundays haven’t happened in a minute, but they are coming back Spring 2022!

Flowers are a passion of mine. You will see them throughout events I curate, in my art, and often I have misc fresh bouquets available for purchase. I am always elated to do flowers for an event. Please email me with inquiries and for pricing.

Equitable Giving Circle

I co-founded and lead EGC’s community work. We launched right before the pandemic hit and pivoted hard so we could help cultivate community resources for BIPOC folks. We launched an idea to raise funds to buy local CSA (community supported agriculture) also known as weekly fresh produce boxes from Black and Brown farmers to gift to Black and Brown community members. We started with a goal of 50 and that quickly grew into 350+. To date we have raised over 2.3 mil dollars, been feeding 325+ families consistently from food purchased from Black and Brown farmers. Assisted 60 families with 3 month of emergency rent/mortgage relief, collected and passed out over 15K plants, as well as made and distributed over 1500 care packages and created multiple community events.

I am also a full-time solo momma and teacher to my 14 year old son Hobbs. We don’t do regular school, we unschool, which means we don’t follow a curriculum prescribed by the state, but learn through real life experiences and the community. Unschooling lets my kid do amazing things like have art shows, run his business, travel the country for Ballet, to facilitate conversation around social justice issues at Race Talks and do so much more.
